Gov. Bill Haslam and Crissy Haslam to light Capitol Christmas tree tonight
NASHVILLE -- At 5:30 p.m. this evening, Gov. Bill Haslam and Crissy Haslam will kick off the holiday season as they light the Capitol Christmas Tree on Legislative Plaza. The 30-foot Norway spruce tree is decorated with over 6,000 LED lights.
This family event will include horse and buggy ride, food vendors, and a visit from Santa Claus and his reindeer. RCA recording artist and Tennessean Chris Young will lead everyone in a favorite holiday tune.
