Rock 'N Roll Again at Valentine's Theme Dinner and Dance

KNOXVILLE -- Ladies! Get out your poodle skirts and saddle oxfords! Gentlemen! Grease back your hair, and find your straight legged Levi's! You can rock the night away at the Fountain City Art Center on Saturday, February 11, 2012, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

A live band will be performing -- Broadway Sound's "Broadway Swing," including Lynn Clapp, Margaret Seagraves, Wayne Goforth, Linda Wise, and some of the other five members of the group. Dressing up in the 50's style is highly encouraged; dining, dancing, and having a great time are "mandatory."

Tickets must be purchased in advance and are available now at $30 per person at the Fountain City Art Center. Call (865) 357-2787 or email fcartcenter@knology.net if you have questions. Seating is limited to 68 people due to the need for dancing space.

Dinner will be reflective of the 50's soda shop/ diner era with "build your own Dagwood," cokes in glass bottles available for those who want them, and a variety of other more modern choices of salad fixings, pasta salad, and fruit. Tempting desserts will also be available.

Holland Rowe will be making dance photos in a "soda shop" setting. Photos will be available at $10 per sheet, payable at the time the photos are taken. Add $2.50 if you ask to have the photos mailed.
