Discover the Dinosaurs at the Knoxville Convention Center
KNOXVILLE -- Over 60 dinosaurs will be taking over the Knoxville Convention Center from February 24 to February 26. An interactive family attraction featuring more than 60 museum-quality and animatronic dinosaur replicas will fill the convention center's 120,000 square-foot exhibit hall.
"Discover the Dinosaurs" invites people of all ages to take a step 65 million years back in time.
"Discover the Dinosaurs," produced by Blue Star Productions, is designed to provide kids and adults with a unique and educational way to explore the mystery of pre-historic life. The hands-on exhibit allows visitors to get up close and even touch these pre-historic replicas.
The exhibit is open Friday, February 24 from noon until 9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-8 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Tickets are available at the door or online at www.discoverthedinosaurs.com: adults (12 and older) $14, children (2-11) $9, and seniors (65+) $9. Children under 2 are free.
The price of admission includes attractions such as a Dino Dig, Dino theater, Dino Den play area, Dino coloring and a scavenger hunt. For an additional charge, there are Triceratops and T-Rex rides, inflatables, gem & fossil panning, mini-golf and dino face painting.
