Grammy Nominee Richard Marx to perform with Knoxville Symphony Orchestra

KNOXVILLE -- Pop icon Richard Marx will perform with the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra at the Tennessee Theatre on Friday, March 16, 2012.
Marx, a three-time Grammy nominee and American Music Award nominee, became the first male solo artist in history between 1987 and 1990 to have his first 7 singles reach the top 5 on Billboard's singles chart. He has sold over 30 million records and written thirteen #1 songs.
The KSO, led by Lucas Richman, consists of over 80 professional musicians that perform before more than 200,000 people annually in traditional and non-traditional venues.
