Relix Theatre Featuring 3 Great Bands

The Roses, Adam Hill and His Sunday Best, and the Anatomy of Frank will be playing a show Tuesday night, June 14, 2011 at the Relix Theatre in Knoxville. The doors will open at 7:00 pm and the first band will start at 8:00 pm. Admission is only $5.

The foothills of the Smoky Mountains have a new tune echoing through their valleys. Over a year and a half in the making, The Roses have set out to steal your ears with their own new brand of that old toe-tapping, southern-fried sound they each grew up hearing out of their parents' radios. Fuse the smooth, sweet burn of the blues, some in-your-face whiskey drinkin' Rock N' Roll, then take a toke of your grandfather's country and you'll end up in the right spot.

Songs like "Dixie Lullabye" and "Milk and Cookies" could soothe any sorrow you may need to drown. While others like "The Whore's Ballad" and "Maybe Baby" will remind you that Rock N' Roll still means having a good time. Straight to the point, these songs are what you might expect from four friends born and raised in the heartland of Tennessee.

Making no apologies, these guys are who they are. The Roses are definitely here with new original music they've been working hard days and long nights to put together..... and folks, they ain't half bad either.

The Roses are:
Drew Hull – vocals, guitar
Derek Kitts – lead guitar
Grant Jones – bass
Bryan Winfree – drums
