Smokin' The Water July 4th Celebration

Annually, the city of Kingston hosts a July 4th celebration like no other. Plan to bring your family to this day-long Americana celebration that ends with a spectacular fireworks show right over Watts Bar Lake.

Held on Kingston's waterfront there will be something for everyone. Wakeboard Competitions, Performances, & Skating, Barefoot Skiing Performances, 21 Gun Military Salute, Presentation of Flag, Children's Activities, Inflatables, Gamestop Gaming Area, Rock Climbing Wall, Live Musical Performances including the group Flying Blind, Food & Craft Vendors, and lots more.

10:00 - Hula Hoop Contest
11 am - Watermelon Cutting at Ft. Southwest Point, Car Show at Roane County High School, Motorcycle Show on the Dike
12:30 - Wake Board Expo begins
1:30 - Home Run Derby (Byrd Field)
2:00 - Live Bands begin performing at the Gravel Pit, Watermelon Eating Contest begins at City Park
3:00 - Homemade Raft Race Launches from City Park
9:30 - Fireworks Show begins behind Byrd Field
