Do you hear what I hear? It's the sound of instruments and melodic voices tuning up for East Tennessee's favorite holiday concert, the 25th Annual Clayton Holiday concert.
Clayton Homes, Clayton Bank and Trust and Clayton Volvo are once again sponsoring the performances by the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Lucas Richman.
This family event will feature performances by special guests Jim Clayton, Hallerin Hilton Hill and Logan Murrell, classical and traditional holiday favorites such as Anderson's Sleigh Ride and Christmas Festival Overture, Handel's Hallelujah Chorus with the Knoxville Choral Society, performances by Go!
"I always look forward to our Clayton Holiday Concerts because, as an East Tennessee tradition, they provide an opportunity for the whole community to come together and celebrate family, love and wonderful music," says KSO Music Director Lucas Richman.
Included in the concert series will be Contemporary Dance Works, music by the Sound Company Children's Choir, the traditional Christmas sing-along with the KSO audience and everyone's favorite elf: Santa Claus!
Performances will take place on Friday and Saturday, December 16 and 17, at 7:30 PM and Saturday and Sunday, December 17 and 18, at 3:00 PM at the Civic Auditorium.
Tickets begin at $14 and children's tickets are half price before fees. To purchase tickets call (865) 291-3310 or (865) 656-4444 or at www.knoxvillesymphony.com.
