Ten Out Of Tenn Announces Fall Tour First Stop – Knoxville TN

Ten Out Of Tenn

On September 14, The Square Room in downtown Knoxville will be the proud host of an avalanche of incredible talent. Ten Out Of Tenn has put their Fall Tour together with Knoxville being the first stop on the list.

Ten Out Of Tenn is: 10 of Tennessee's best independent artists coming together to form one unique project.

Each of the artists is a success in their own right and each has a strong following, but instead of leaving the artists on their own to struggle through and promote themselves in the brutal music industry Kristin and Trent Dabbs had a better idea:

Why not find the ten best, promote them, record them and put together a tour to give the fans everything they could ever ask for?

The group is all seasoned up and ready for the big time. When you have this much talent packed into one music-filled evening the musicians and the fans can't help but have a great time, so Knoxville is in for a treat.

So what kind of music is Ten Out Of Ten? When I received word that they were heading to Knoxville I started digging and found a unique, well-represented mixture of soft rock, alternative, folk and blues-rock. Naturally, you can hear more influences here and there but this is the gist. Catering to the serious and mature music-lovers of the world: If you're a John Mayer, Sarah McLaughlin or David Gray fan this project is sure to please.

No newbies to the stage, each of the artists is a half step from super stardom and have shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the music industry. Individually releasing over 30 albums, Ten Out Of Tenn is Katie Herzig, Gabe Dixon, Andrew Belle, Amy Stroup, Trent Dabbs, Matthew Perryman Jones, K.S. Rhoads, Butterfly Boucher, Tyler James, and Jeremy Lister.

Since they came together in 2009 they have produced a compilation album and a Christmas album, they've done three tours, showcased at music festivals, and have an awarding winning documentary titled Any Day Now.

As we write this, they're preparing to launch their tour with a list that includes the 15 best cities in America. Of course, it would make perfect sense to start it all off in Knoxville. See you there!
