BRISTOL, TN -- Nick Self has been appointed president of BurWil Construction effective January 1, 2022. Self has been with the company since 2001, serving as vice president of operations. He assumes the role from William H. Prince, Sr., who will continue to lead the company as CEO. William C. Burriss III will continue to serve as CFO in addition to his responsibilities in project management.

Self has more than 30 years of diverse experience in construction to including retail, education, healthcare, justice / jail, industrial, historical renovation, and hospitality. As vice president of operations, he has overseen estimating / pre-construction services, project management, and field operations as well as being a key component of sales and marketing. He has previous experience with Haun Concrete Construction, Powell Building Group, and Hardaway Construction Co. Self earned his Bachelor of Science in Building Science from Auburn University.

In addition to his leadership role, Nick continues to project manage multiple projects for the company. Notably, he is overseeing the completion of the Inn at Nicewonder Farm & Vinyards which includes 28 guest rooms, overnight yurt rentals, event spaces and a restaurant.
