Big Lots new store opening to benefit South-Doyle Middle School

KNOXVILLE – Big Lots is celebrating the grand opening of its newest store in Knoxville on April 18, 2014. The 22,000 square foot store is located in Chapman Commons at 4580 Chapman Highway.

As part of the grand opening celebration, Big Lots will make a $1,500 donation to South-Doyle Middle School during its ribbon-cutting ceremony. “We are proud to be able to make this donation to South-Doyle Middle School to further the education of their students and reaffirm our commitment to the surrounding Knoxville community,” said Stein.

Big Lots, the nation’s largest broadline closeout retailer, offers new merchandise every week that typically sells for 20 to 40 percent less than discount stores and up to 70 percent below traditional retailers. The new store will carry thousands of products available from everyday consumables, seasonal goods, home decor, electronics, toys, brand-name furniture, Serta mattresses and extraordinary one-time closeouts.

This new store will replace the store located at 4006 Chapman Highway, Knoxville and will be open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday through Saturday.
