  Andy Lowe joins Knoxville LBMC


andy loweKNOXVILLE – Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain, PC (LBMC) and the LBMC Family of Companies, one of the Southeast’s largest accounting and business consulting firms, proudly announces that Andy Lowe will head LBMC’s Valuation, Litigation & Business Transition Services Group in Knoxville. Lowe has worked for LBMC in the Nashville (Brentwood) office for more than four years.

Lowe, an accredited senior appraiser, will now head LBMC’s Valuation, Litigation & Business Transition Services Group in Knoxville. He works with a team of experienced valuation professionals who possess diverse backgrounds in valuation, consulting, forensic accounting, litigation support (commercial and family law), and buy and sell side merger and acquisition representation. Prior to LBMC, Lowe worked as a development associate and investment analyst for a real estate development business. He brings with him experience in real estate investment analysis, contract negotiations, loan analysis, cash flow modeling and due diligence work. During his time in real estate development, Lowe was responsible for raising over $7M in equity and worked with banks around the southeast to complete over $50M in financing. He received a bachelor’s degree in management from Carson Newman College and an MBA with a concentration in finance from Middle Tennessee State University.

Lowe performs valuation engagements for gift, estate, and income tax planning and reporting (valuation of closely held businesses and business interests), and intangible asset valuations including business combinations (ASC 805) and goodwill impairment testing (ASC 350). He also provides litigation support services for both family law (including business valuation, forensic accounting, division of marital estate, etc.) and commercial litigation (including economic damages, forensic accounting, etc.). The balance of Lowe’s practice focuses on merger and acquisition and business transition services (including both buy side and sell side representation).

Lowe is active in and continues to support many professional and civic organizations, including: American Society of Appraisers (ASA) and National Association of Valuators and Analysts (NACVA).

A former collegiate golfer and Tennessee Golf Association employee, Andy enjoys spending time on the golf course. He is also an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hiking, backpacking, hunting and fishing, and spending time outdoors with his wife Julia, and their two-year old daughter Ellie.
